The latest TruAge test provides two biological age estimates, OMICm Age with associated disease risk predictions and SYMPHONYAge with organ system-specific age scores, as well as your current rate of biological aging (whether your biological age is increasing at a faster or slower rate than average).

Average telomere length and Telomere Age – provides average telomere length, predicted by methylation patterns in the DNA from thr submitted sample , and how this compares to others in your chronological age group.

Fitness Age (OMICm FitAge) - OMICm FitAge uses epigenetic biomarkers of physical performance to estimate biological age, indicating how physical fitness may be impacting the aging process.

Weight Loss response – determines percent methylation at multiple gene loci associated with response to low calorie diets. Results help provide insight into how well you may respond to calorie restriction as a weight-loss strategy.

Smoking risk – determine percent methylation related to smoke exposure on health and risk of developing smoking-related conditions

Alcohol risk – determines alcohol-related epigenetic risk pattern and how it compares to the epigenetic pattern of others with similar reported alcohol consumption.

Epigenetic methylation patterns are influenced by various factors including diet, supplementation, and lifestyle. This test can be useful to repeat over time as any favorable lifestyle and dietary changes can reveal changes in rate of aging and biological age.

This kit is provided as an at-home blood spot collection kit. One circle must be fully saturated to provide sufficient DNA for analysis. If you have trouble with the collection, please contact Life Extension for assistance.
