1. What is Personal Information
When we use the term “personal information” (and its equivalent term “personal data” as defined by applicable data protection laws), we mean any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, and information linked or linkable to an identified or identifiable natural person. “Natural person” means a living human being.
Personal information does not include data that is publicly available or has been “aggregated” or “de-identified” (and its equivalent term “anonymized” as defined by applicable data protection laws). Aggregated and de-identified data is non-personal information. This means we have removed any personally identifiable information (including names, email addresses, postal addresses, and telephone numbers), and the remaining data cannot be reasonably used to identify you or link you to the information in question.
2. Collection and Use of Information
We collect personal information that is relevant, adequate, and necessary to accomplish the purpose for which it is collected, and we minimize the amount of personal information we collect by using privacy-enabling technologies (including key coding, pseudonymous, de-identified, anonymous, and aggregated anonymous data management practices) when it would be reasonable to do so.
We use the following legal bases when we collect and use personal information:
- With Your Consent to collect and use your personal information for one or more purposes.
