Your body needs to be in a state of complete relaxation, and if you've just worked up a sweat, your heart rate might be too elevated for a restful night. Schedule that HIIT session at least several hours before bedtime. On the other hand, low-impact, simple stretches before bed can help your body relax and fall asleep faster.
