Health benefits of magnesium L-threonate
Also available in capsule form, magnesium L-threonate supplementation offers a variety of benefits to the brain, helping to support your working or "short-term" memory, like remembering where you put your car keys. It also helps with overall cognitive function—so you're less likely to forget the milk next time you're at the grocery store.
How much magnesium should I take?
Each serving of Neuro-Mag® delivers 2,000 mg of magnesium L-threonate, providing 144 mg of elemental magnesium. Therefore, you can take it in combination with other magnesium formulas designed for other health goals you may be looking to support. The RDA for magnesium for men is 420 mg and 320 mg for women. Life Extension generally suggests 500 mg daily from food and supplements for optimal health. Suboptimal magnesium status is common, and it is important to get enough as you age.
